This is a busy holiday weekend in the Highlands and there is also another wedding on Saturday of this same weekend. Knowing this, you should book now!! with the option to cancel closer to the date (if your plans change) based on the individual hotel’s cancellation policy.
Highlands has a Main Street where there are hotels, restaurants, shops and everything is within walking distance. In addition, there are some outlying hotels that are within a few miles of the wedding venue and downtown Highlands. Some guests are booking houses through VRBO or AirBnB in the Highlands/Cashiers area which is also and option if you want to stay with multiple family members or friends (or simply want a kitchen and more space). We looked on-line at houses just to see the inventory and there are literally hundreds to choose from at all price points.
There are 5 primary hotels below where we expect many guests will want to stay based on their proximity to downtown Highlands and associated amenities. Because of the holiday weekend, some may have a 3-night minimum. Many of the rental houses do not have a minimum on the number of nights. There are links below for VRBO and Airbnb if you decide to go that route.
Old Edwards Inn and Spa

Description: Historic Inn and spa located on Main street. It is an elegant full service hotel with restaurants, bar, spa, golf, pool, tennis and gym.

200 Main by Old Edwards

Description: This is a sister hotel of Old Edwards Inn and it is located on Main Street. This is not a full service hotel but there are tons of restaurants within walking distance. They have a fitness center, fire pit and access to golf. They are also dog friendly.
Price Range: $205-$260 per night. We have a hotel block for 10 rooms under Daniels/Staley wedding.
Half-Mile Farm by Old Edwards

Description: This is a sister hotel of Old Edwards and is located 1.5 miles from Main street. It is located on a spacious farm with elegant rooms and cabins for multiple family members or friends. It serves gourmet breakfast each morning that is included, full service bar, fire pit, nightly social hour 5:30-6:30. Access to the Old Edwards Inn gym is included. This hotel, however, does required a 3 night minimum stay and guests must be 18 years or older. This is where KK and Dan are staying for the weekend (other than the wedding night).

The Park on Main

Description: This is a 24 room boutique hotel that is pet friendly. They love dogs! It is located on Main Street. It is not a full service hotel but within walking distance of many restaurants.
